Transfer iTunes Podcast to Kindle Fire

“Is there a way to transfer iTunes podcast to Kindle Fire? I’ve downloaded a bunch of movies from iTunes Discovery Channel Podcast and enjoy watching them on my computer. But I want to put some of them on my Kindle Fire, so I can take some discovery episodes with me. Is there any way I can sync iTunes Podcast to my Kindle Fire?”

The answer is yes, but you’ll need the help of a third-party program. Here is how:

Convert iTunes Podcast to Kindle Fire

Like iTunes movies and TV shows, Podcast are in M4V format, which is not supported by Kindle Fire. In order to transfer iTunes Podcast to Kindle Fire, the first thing you need to do is to convert iTunes Podcast to a format that Kindle Fire can read.

Video Convert is recommended for converting Podcast to Kindle Fire MP4 video. Here is how:

Step 1: In main window, click the Add Video button to locate and load Podcast files. By default, your iTunes movies or TV shows are store in My Documents -> My Music -> iTunes -> iTunes Music -> Podcast

Step 2: At the bottom of the Window, choose MP4 from Profile as output format.

Step 3: Click the Convert button at the right hand corner of the Window to start conversion. How long will the conversion last depends on the speed of your computer and the files length of the podcasts. When the conversion is done, you can find the output file in the destination folder (Shown at the bottom of the main Window, under Profile).

Put Converted Podcast to Your Kindle File

When you finsh the conversion, connect your Kindle Fire with the USB cable to your computer. The Kindle Fire will now show up as a removable disk drive. Windows users can look under Computer/My Computer. Mac users can look on the desktop. Open the KINDLE drive. You will see a folder named Videos on the left side of the Window. You can drag and drop converted podcasts, or even entire folders to this folder.

That’s it. Now you can put iTunes podcast to Kindle Fire and watch any time you like.
