How to Sync iTunes to Samsung Galaxy Tab

Get a brand new Android tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab? It’s not uncommon that you have a Apple device and a huge iTunes library. Chances are you want to sync your iTunes library to your Samsung Galaxy Tab, including  iTunes songs, TV shows and movies. As we know, iTunes songs are now DRM free. However, iTunes movies and TV shows are copy protected. That means you’ll need to remove DRM from iTunes purchased movies and TV show in order to put them on your Samsung Galaxy Tab.

This article includes two parts, the the first introduces how to sync iTunes music to Samsung Galaxy Tab, and the second describes removing iTunes DRM and upload movies to Samsung Galaxy Tab.

iTunes songs to Samsung Galaxy Tab

Your iTunes library may be in .M4A format if you purchased them from itunes.  If so you will have to go to itunes settings and set the import format to mp3 (which also sets the export format to mp3) and then export an mp3 format of those songs.

When finished, just drag and drop onto the my music folder on the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

iTunes TV shows and movies to Samsung Galaxy Tab

Indeed, iTunes purchased movies and TV shows are copy-protected and your Samsung Galaxy Tab won’t read them. DRM removal is able to remove DRM protection from iTunes movies and TV shows and convert them to MP4 format for your Samsung Galaxy Tab . Follow the instructions below and you’ll find it pretty straightforward.

Step 1: Download and Install DRM removal. Once you finish the installation, launch the program.

Step 2: By default, your iTunes movies or TV shows are store in My Documents -> My Music -> iTunes -> iTunes Music -> Movies/TV shows. Import the movies you want to the program.

Note: You can only remove DRM from your own iTunes purchases. You need to enter the account later in order to proceed the DRM removing process.

Step 3: From the bottom of the screen, choose the MP4 output format and the desdination folder for the output videos.

Step 4: Hit the Convert button at the lower right corner of the screen. You’ll be promoted to enter your iTunes account, enter to proceed.

Now, just sit back the let the program do the rest for you. When finished, import the output files to your Samsung Galaxy Tab and enjoy!
